Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. is seeking a skilled professional to develop the German market for FICC flow products and strengthen existing relationships.

You will support institutional clients, originate fixed income opportunities, and deliver market insights to drive engagement and revenue across primary and secondary markets. The role requires 5–7 years in a similar position, fluent English and German, and a strong track record with German/Austrian clients, insurers, banks and asset managers.

• 5–7 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven relationships with German/Austrian customers, RMs including insurers and pension funds
• Deep knowledge and genuine interest in Credits/Rates/EM markets
• Ability to analyse market environment, RV trades, client portfolio dynamics
• Bachelor or Master degree and fluency in English and German

Overview

You will be in charge of developing the german market for FICC flow products and strengthen our current relationships. You will assist customers in primary and secondary activity with Intesa and through an extensive commercial/market activity, you will work to develop the flow franchise on fixed income products.

What you'll be doing

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, insurers, banks, pension funds and professional investors.
• Originate and execute fixed income opportunities in primary and secondary markets.
• Provide market intelligence, investment ideas and relative value opportunities.
• Support new issues in coordination with DCM, Syndicate and Research teams.
• Monitor credit markets, spreads, macro trends and issuer developments to identify opportunities.
• Prepare client presentations, investment proposals, market updates and marketing materials.
• Respond to client requests, provide pricing and support trade execution.
• Analyze client portfolios and trading activity to increase engagement and revenue.
• Participate in meetings, roadshows and industry events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality client service and execution.

Who we are looking for

• 5/7 years of experience in similar role;
• Proven and effective relationships with German/Austrian customers, RMs (including insurance and pension funds) and banks.
• Deep knowledge and genuine interest in the Credits/Rates/EM markets.
• Capacity to analyse market environment, RV trades, client portfolio dynamics, primary and secondary markets peculiarities;
• Qualification: Bachelor or Master degree
• Language: English and German

Preferred skills

• Relationships with other Continental Europe accounts or EM players.
• Preferred consideration will be given to candidates who have gained significant international professional or academic experience through studies undertaken abroad or at internationally recognized educational institutions.
