Job summary

Alphabet Racing Italia seeks a skilled Performance Engineer to join our FIA Formula 2 motorsport team and optimize car performance across events.

You will lead inboard and outboard systems analysis, work with Race and Lead Engineers, perform data-driven decisions, and contribute to setup development, simulations, and reporting.

The role requires a strong team mindset, excellent communication, and willingness to travel to race and test events.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or higher with strong vehicle dynamics knowledge.
• Experience in motorsport data analysis and decision making under pressure.
• Familiarity with car systems, sensors, and endurance setup development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze inboard/outboard systems for one car across events.
• Collaborate with Race Engineer, Lead Engineer, Team Manager and Racing Director.
• Participate in car setup development, simulations and DIL activities, run planning and reporting.
