OHB Italia is seeking an FDIR System Engineer to support the Satellite and Missions Business Unit in Rome, Italy. The role covers the full project lifecycle from concept to in-orbit operations, collaborating with OBSW, Avionics, AOCS/GNC, and Power teams.

You will define FDIR concepts, contribute to system, satellite, avionic and software architectures, write software specifications and user manuals, and participate in reviews and campaign activities. Fluency in English is required.

Competenze

• Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field and proven industry experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering.
• Experience across satellite engineering domains (Operations, SW, AOCS/GNC).

along the whole project lifecycle, including concept, detailed design, implementation, verification, and in-orbit operations.You will interact with the Lead system engineer and all the different disciplines as OBSW, Avionics, AOCS/GNC, Propulsion, Power, Thermal etc.The successful candidate has a deep and proven knowledge of
