Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Milano is seeking an FDIR System Engineer (M/F). You will define the satellite FDIR throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to in-orbit operations. Responsibilities include contributions to architectures and supporting verification processes. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in satellite systems engineering and relevant experience. Fluency in English is required for this role, which offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge space missions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering, mission and operations.
• Experience in various satellite engineering domains (eg. Operations, SW, AOCS/GNC etc.).
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Define the satellite FDIR along the entire project lifecycle.
• Contribute to system, satellite, avionic, and SW architectures.
• Support in orbit operations such as LEOP and commissioning.

Skills

Strong knowledge of satellite systems engineering

Experience in satellite engineering domains

Excellent problem-solving skills

Good interpersonal skills

Education

University degree (Master/PhD) or equivalent education
