Boeing Italia S.R.L. Boeing Global Services (BGS) seeks an Experienced Configuration Management & Maintenance Support Specialist for the KC-767A Italy Tanker Program, based at Pratica di Mare, Rome.

The role requires strong CM discipline, maintenance planning input, and coordination with both the Italy Tanker Fleet and Engineering teams. The candidate must have 10+ years of airline engineering experience, be fluent in Italian and English, and possess EU work rights.

Qualifications

• 10+ years airline engineering experience in support of continuing airworthiness.
• Fluent in both Italian and English (verbal and written).
• EU work rights are present.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering/maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SB/AD/PTA for applicability and material/manpower required to update the Maintenance Plan and fleet incorporation.
• Coordinate with engineering to review Service Bulletin, AD and PTA for fleet applicability.
• Review the Maintenance Plan Document to update the Fleet Maintenance Plan with CM input.
• Collaborate on the development of Configuration Management documentation for the Italy Tanker Fleet.
• Utilize technical expertise to assist the customer in maintaining high aircraft reliability and determine corrective actions.
• Support Short- and Long-Term Maintenance Plan planning for the Italy Tanker Fleet.
• Develop vectors to communicate technical inquiries to the Italy Tanker Fleet.
• Assist Engineering or Logistic Engineering as needed.
• Interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and maintenance procedures for customers.
• Act as on-site technical liaison between Boeing Maintenance Engineering and local Configuration Management.

Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking an Experienced Configuration Management & Maintenance Support Specialist in Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Italy. The successful candidate shall be a self-starter, highly motivated with excellent communication skills. KC-767A Italy Tanker Program supports the Italian Air Force (ltAF) KC-767A fleet located at Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome Italy. This Program is a part of the Government Services of the Boeing Global Services Division. Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. KC-767A Italy Tanker Program supports the Italian Air Force (ltAF) KC-767A fleet located at Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome Italy.

Position Responsibilities

• Analyze SB/AD/PTA for applicability and material/manpower required in order to update the Maintenance Plan and plan the related incorporation on the fleet.
• Participate to the routine coordination meeting with the engineering to review Service Bulletin, AD and PTA applicable to the Fleet
• In collaboration with the Configuration management group, review the Maintenance Plan Document to update the Fleet Maintenance Plan
• Collaborate to the elaboration of the Configuration Management documentation for the Italy Tanker Fleet
• Utilize disciplined technical expertise & company knowledge (not limited to SB/SL) to assist the customer to achieve & sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the KC767A by investigating product reliability, determine root cause analysis by developing, coordinating and recommending appropriate corrective actions
• Support the planning of the Short- and Long-Term Maintenance Plan for the Italy Tanker Fleet
• Elaborate Vectors to communicate technical inquiry to Italy Tanker Fleet
• Support Engineering or Logistic Engineering
• Assist the customer in interpreting and using the appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), interpreting servicing and maintenance support procedures
• Act as the on-site technical liaison between Boeing Maintenance Engineering and the on-site Boeing PDM Configuration Management

Basic Qualifications

• Existing rights to work in the European Union (EU)
• 10+ Years Airline Engineering experience in support of the Continuing Airworthiness of the Fleet
• Fluent with verbal and written Italian
• Fluent in both verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications/Experience and Person Specification

• Experience in reading and interpreting engineering and maintenance technical information (REDARS is a plus)
• Work effectively and cooperatively with the team, managers, and members of others work groups; establish and maintain good working relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Must be willing to work flexible hours as the job requires
• Willing to get qualified as Supervisor for tank entry
• Familiar with Boeing 767 aircraft AMM, IPC and MTC
• Familiarity with Boeing web-based Information Systems such as: My Boeing Fleet, and a technical inquiry request systems (BCS, Vector)
• Experience with the KC-767 Tanker
• Belonging to “Categorie Protette” L.68/99 art.1
