The Boeing Company in Pratica di Mare, Italy, is seeking an experienced Configuration Management & Maintenance Support Specialist to support the KC-767A Italy Tanker Program. The role analyzes service bulletins and maintenance data, updates the fleet maintenance plan, and coordinates with engineering to ensure fleet readiness.

Candidates must have 10+ years of airline engineering experience, be fluent in Italian and English, and have the right to work in the EU.

• Investigate product reliability and determine root cause analysis to recommend corrective actions.
• Support the planning of Short- and Long-Term Maintenance Plan for the Italy Tanker Fleet.
• Elaborate vectors to communicate technical inquiries to Italy Tanker Fleet Support Engineering or Logistic Engineering.
• Assist the customer in interpreting the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and maintenance procedures.
• Act as on-site technical liaison between Boeing Maintenance Engineering and on-site PDM Configuration Management

Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking an Experienced Configuration Management & Maintenance Support Specialist in Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Italy.

The successful candidate shall be a self-starter, highly motivated with excellent communication skills. KC-767A Italy Tanker Program supports the Italian Air Force (ltAF) KC-767A fleet located at Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome Italy. This Program is a part of the Government Services of the Boeing Global Services Division.

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyze SB/AD/PTA for applicability and material/manpower required in order to update the Maintenance Plan and plan the related incorporation on the fleet.
• Participate to the routine coordination meeting with the engineering to review Service Bulletin, AD and PTA applicable to the Fleet
• In collaboration with the Configuration management group, review the Maintenance Plan Document to update the Fleet Maintenance Plan
• Collaborate to the elaboration of the Configuration Management documentation for the Italy Tanker Fleet
• Utilize disciplined technical expertise & company knowledge (not limited to SB/SL) to assist the customer to achieve & sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the KC767A by investigating product reliability, determine root cause analysis by developing, coordinating and recommending appropriate corrective actions
• Support the planning of the Short- and Long-Term Maintenance Plan for the Italy Tanker Fleet
• Elaborate Vectors to communicate technical inquiry to Italy Tanker Fleet Support Engineering or Logistic Engineering
• Assist the customer in interpreting and using the appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), interpreting servicing and maintenance support procedures
• Act as the on-site technical liaison between Boeing Maintenance Engineering and the on-site Boeing PDM Configuration Management

Basic Qualifications:

• Existing rights to work in the European Union (EU)
• 10+ Years Airline Engineering experience in support of the Continuing Airworthiness of the Fleet
• Fluent with verbal and written Italian
• Fluent in both verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications/Experience and Person Specification:

• Experience in reading and interpreting engineering and maintenance technical information (REDARS is a plus)
• Work effectively and cooperatively with the team, managers, and members of others work groups; establish and maintain good working relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Must be willing to work flexible hours as the job requires
• Willing to get qualified as Supervisor for tank entry
• Familiar with Boeing 767 aircraft AMM, IPC and MTC
• Familiarity with Boeing web-based Information Systems such as: My Boeing Fleet, and a technical inquiry request systems (BCS, Vector)
• Experience with the KC-767 Tanker
• Belonging to “Categorie Protette” L.68/99 art.1

This role is a locally hired position and candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in Italy.
