Tradition, the interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition, invites applications for a 6-month internship on our European Government Bonds Desk in Rome. You will assist brokers, book trade tickets, and help prepare daily P&L and recaps.

You will work closely with Front, Middle and Back Office, contributing to desk tooling through VBA and Python. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, has strong Excel/VBA skills, and fluent in English and French.

Competenze

• Strong interest in financial markets.
• Excellent knowledge of financial markets, interest rate products and derivatives.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong Excel and VBA skills.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organised approach.
• Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced team.

Mansioni

• Assisting brokers in their daily activities.
• Booking of trade tickets in the internal database.
• Preparing daily P&L and trade recaps, enhancing efficiency and workflow.
• Coordination between Front, Middle and Back Office for post-trade reconciliation.
• Development and optimization of desk tools using VBA and Python.
