Euronext in Milan (Piazza degli Affari 6) seeks an ICFR Intern to join the Finance team starting November 2026. Based in Milan, you will support internal control processes and enhance financial reporting.

You will work across corporate information systems, map controls, assist in audits, and collaborate with risk teams in a dynamic, multilingual European environment. The role offers learning opportunities and exposure to cross-border projects within a leading European capital markets

Competenze

• Degree in economics, accounting, management or related field with focus on control, risk, or compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI familiarity is a plus.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Proactive, logical approach to problem solving; strong communication.

Your responsibilities:

• Supporting the optimisation of the corporate information system and improving finance processes and procedures
• Assisting in mapping processes, procedures and documentation related to the internal control framework
• Contributing to testing and monitoring the design and operating effectiveness of finance controls
• Supporting the annual finance risk assessment exercise in collaboration with the group risk team
• Participating in internal and external audit processes by coordinating sample requests and tracking audit findings

Your profile:

• Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management or a related field with a focus on control, risk management or compliance (or currently studying towards one)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint); familiarity with Power BI is a plus
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
• Proactive and logical approach to problem solving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in a matrix organisation
• Capability to develop partnerships and challenge third parties to find best‑fit solutions
