European Credit Analyst: Build a New Platform

Angove Partners is seeking a European credit analyst to join our newly established Milan office and help build an investment platform inside a global asset manager. You will analyse credit opportunities across leveraged loan and high yield markets, perform financial modelling, and support due diligence with the portfolio management team.

The role involves monitoring existing positions, preparing investment materials and recommendations, and contributing to the growth of the European credit

Competenze

• Background in Investment Banking, ideally within Leveraged Finance, M&A, or Restructuring.
• Strong financial modelling and credit analysis skills.
• Interest in credit investing and building a long-term buy-side career.
• French or German language skills strongly preferred, but not a requirement.
• Comfortable working in a small, high performing team with real input from day one.

Mansioni

• Analyse credit opportunities across the leveraged loan and high yield markets, including company and industry research, financial modelling, and credit assessment.
• Support due diligence on new investment opportunities, working closely with the PM.
• Monitor existing portfolio positions and track company and market developments.
• Prepare investment materials and recommendations for the investment team.
• Contribute to the wider build out of the European credit platform as it grows.
