A leading pan-European digital infrastructure platform is seeking an Investment Associate to join their Investment team. In this strategic role, you will support investment decisions and work closely with senior stakeholders on high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of M&A or Private Equity experience, strong financial modelling skills, and conversational Italian. This opportunity is based in the Greater Milan Metropolitan Area and offers a chance to impact the company's growth significantly.

Competenze

Investment Associate - Digital Infrastructure

We’re working exclusively with a leading pan-European digital infrastructure platform who are building out an Investment team and are looking to hire an Associate to join their growing platform. This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly strategic role working across cross-border investments, acquisitions, and development initiatives.

About the Role:

Sitting within the Investment team and reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer, the role is at the heart of the business — supporting investment decisions, expansion strategy, and corporate development initiatives. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business on high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain complex financial models for acquisitions and follow-on investments
• Lead underwriting and returns analysis across data centre campuses
• Assist with M&A, strategic forecasting, and business planning
• Prepare materials for internal and external stakeholders, including the board
• Support corporate development and financing transactions as required

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years’ experience in M&A, or Private Equity. Prior exposure to Digital Infrastructure/Data Centres is highly desirable.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
• Background in data centres, real estate, or private equity preferred
• Conversational Italian is essential; additional European languages a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Management, or related fields
• High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills
• Eligibility to Work in the EU.
