Job summary

DP World is seeking a Logistics Engineer to support a portfolio of Contract Logistics sites across Western and Southern Europe. You will drive operational excellence, develop labour models and capacity plans, and contribute to both existing operations and new launches with data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in logistics engineering, warehouse operations, contract logistics, or implementation projects.
• Knowledge of labour planning, capacity modelling, productivity analysis, and process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to analyse operational data and translate findings into practical business improvements.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), logistics technologies, or operational performance reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualisation or reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across cross‑functional teams; travel across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple Contract Logistics sites across Western and Southern Europe with engineering analysis, operational improvements, and performance optimisation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain labour models, capacity plans, productivity calculations, and operational performance reporting.
• Analyse operational data and identify opportunities to improve productivity, service quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
• Partner with site leadership teams to enhance warehouse processes, resource utilisation, space optimisation, and operational workflows.
• Support the implementation of new customer operations, warehouse launches, and expansion projects, ensuring operational readiness and successful transition into business-as-usual operations.
• Assist with warehouse fit-outs, process implementation, testing, commissioning, and launch activities where required.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects using Lean and structured problem‑solving methodologies.
• Monitor key operational metrics and provide recommendations to improve performance and customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, IT, Automation, Solution Design, Procurement, and Project Management to deliver operational and strategic initiatives.
• Support standardisation and best‑practice sharing across the regional Contract Logistics network.
• Promote a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
