Fortidia seeks a senior Legal Director for EU/UK Sales & Compliance to lead franchise matters, oversee EU/UK compliance, and guide M&A activities outside Italy. You will manage a Legal Specialist and collaborate with global legal teams.

The role requires deep IP and GDPR knowledge, strong contract capability, and the ability to translate complex regulations into practical business guidance across cross-functional teams. International travel up to 15% is possible.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Law (Italy)
• 12–15 years of experience in franchised businesses or equivalents
• Deep knowledge of Intellectual Property and GDPR
• Strong general commercial contract expertise and knowledge of international contract law
• Corporate law proficiency including corporate secretarial activities
• Ability to translate highly technical terms into practical recommendations
• Fluent in English and Italian (Spanish/French/German a plus)
• Willingness to travel up to 15%

Responsabilités

• Lead all franchise-related legal matters for the EU, including agreements, disputes, and model structuring
• Own EU/UK compliance, including consumer protection, data privacy, and other regulations
• Act as primary legal contact for M&A outside Italy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and provide solutions
• Develop and implement compliance policies and training
• Manage disputes and coordinate with external counsels
• Support IP portfolio maintenance (trademarks and domains)
• Lead special legal projects end to end
• Perform other key legal and compliance duties
