Hitachi Rail is seeking a Senior Signalling System Engineer based in Turin, Italy. You will lead end-to-end ERTMS delivery, oversee design, integration, testing, and approvals, and coordinate with authorities and contractors to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires deep knowledge of CBTC/ERTMS, CENELEC standards, RAMS, and interface management, with English and Italian language proficiency. A strong technical leadership mindset and collaboration with project teams are essential.

Competenze

• Experience in CBTC or ERTMS/ETCS and signaling systems.
• Strong understanding of railway signaling principles and standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.

Mansioni

• Lead end-to-end ERTMS delivery, approving subsystem design and integration.
• Define and manage signaling milestones, budgets and resources.
• Oversee V&V activities, testing and commissioning of ERTMS/ATP systems.
• Collaborate with contractors and authorities to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop and adapt technical solutions, and manage RAMS and requirements.
• Define system requirements and manage their allocation across subsystems.
• Coordinate interfaces between signaling subsystems and project teams.
• Define architecture and verify signaling design, and manage software deliveries.
• Execute on-site signaling tests; participate in Factory Acceptance tests.
• Be the project/customer liaison for signaling and support commissioning.
