Ramboll Italy is seeking an Environmental Permitting Consultant to help interpret EU and Italian environmental regulations and support permit applications and compliance programs. The role offers hybrid work with occasional travel for internal and external meetings, joining a vibrant, international team within the Environmental & Health department.

You will contribute to projects across Europe, leveraging a strong regulatory background and fluency in Italian and English to communicate with

Competenze

• Master of Science (Laurea quinquennale) or PhD in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemical or similar field.
• Strong understanding of Italian environmental regulations and how to apply them to real-world projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Critically review and interpret EU and Italian environmental regulations.
• Assist in preparing major and minor permit applications (e.g. AIA, AUA).
• Assist in preparing studies under Italian Environmental Impact Assessment legislation (VIA, SIA, VINCA).
• Assist clients in maintaining operation compliance with existing environmental permits (air, waste, wastewater).
• Prepare emissions calculations for industrial sources.
• Conduct compliance assessment against Best Available Techniques for multiple industries.
• Conduct air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control measures.
• Review industrial wastewater management per Italian laws.
