Ramboll Group is seeking an Environmental Consultant for Milan and Rome offices. The role focuses on site characterisation, risk assessment, and remediation projects for contaminated sites, collaborating with geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists in an international network.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of relevant experience, a Master’s degree in a related field, and knowledge of Italian regulations (Legislative Decree 152/06). Proficiency in Italian and English is expected.

Competenze

• Master level university degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related disciplines.
• Relevant experience in site characterisation and remediation, as well as human health and environmental risk assessment for contaminated sites.
• Knowledge of Italian environmental regulations relating to contaminated sites, with particular reference to Legislative Decree 152/06
• Ideally proficient user of ArcGIS/AutoCAD
• Experience of field work and data analysis
• Ability to communicate effectively in Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Support Project Manager in planning and coordinating project activities
• Contribute to site characterisation plans, risk assessments, remediation designs, and technical feasibility evaluations
• Data analysis and elaboration
• Liaise with laboratories, subcontractors, authorities, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
• Draft expert reports within remediation projects
• Proposal and reporting in Italian or English
• Help ensure compliance with project quality, schedule, budget, and HSE requirements
