Luxoft in Italy seeks an electrical wiring systems designer for automotive projects spanning platform capabilities for a German OEM. You will design wiring systems, create schematics and 2D/3D layouts, and define how signals and power are routed across ECUs, sensors, actuators, and HMIs.

The role requires solid knowledge of voltage, current, CAN/LIN/Ethernet networks, and the ability to size wires and select fusing and protection concepts.

Competenze

• Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals (voltage, current, power).
• Knowledge of vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Ability to calculate wire sizing and voltage drop; proper fusing concepts.
• Experience in wiring systems design and circuit concepts.

Automotive. German OEM. The project is responsible for cross-brand platform capabilities and foundational technologies in the field of vehicle electronics and softwar. Ensure the development of electric and electronic hardware solutions with wellbalanced performance steps, delivering with quality and with modular scalability to support the transition to platform all company brands

Responsibilities

Design of Wiring Systems

• Creates schematics and 2D/3D layouts of wiring harnesses.
• Defines how electrical signals and power are routed between components (ECUs, sensors, actuators, HMIs, etc.).
• Ensures correct wire types, sizes, shielding, and insulation.

Skills

• Must have

Location

Preference will be given to candidates based near Turin, to enable at least one day per week of on-site presence. However, we will also consider candidates based in other Italian cities, with the possibility of a fully remote contract.
