SGS is seeking an Energy & Sustainability Specialist to join the Energy & Sustainability team in either Milan or Venice. The role involves energy management and sustainability activities for national and international clients, including ISO 50001 verification, ESCo verification per UNI 11352, ISO 50100 validation, and GHGP/ISO 14064-1 audits.

Requirements include a degree in Environmental, Energy, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, about 2 years of corporate experience, strong English skills,

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Environmental, Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Around 2 years of corporate experience supporting Energy Managers or HSE/Sustainability functions.
• Good command of English written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and internationally.

Mansioni

• Carry out energy performance verification activities in accordance with ISO 50001.
• Verify ESCo services in line with UNI 11352.
• Conduct validation and verification activities per ISO 50100.
• Perform audits and emissions verification per the GHGP and ISO 14064-1.

Job Description

SGS is looking for a candidate to join its Business Assurance division as an Energy & Sustainability Specialist, based in either Milan or Venice.

The selected candidate will be part of the Energy & Sustainability team and will carry out technical and operational activities related to energy management and sustainability. The role involves working with both national and international clients, with responsibilities including:

• Conducting energy performance verification activities in accordance with ISO 50001
• Performing verification of ESCo (Energy Service Company) services in line with UNI 11352
• Carrying out validation and verification activities as per ISO 50100
• Conducting audits and emissions verification in accordance with the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental, Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field
• Around 2 years of prior experience in corporate environments, supporting Energy Managers or HSE/Sustainability functions
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel within Italy and internationally
