ENGIE Italy is seeking a Contract Negotiation Lawyer to join the S&EM Italian Legal team in Milan or Rome. You will support gas, electricity, green energy related agreements and derivatives contracts, shaping contractual strategies and negotiating templates.

You will collaborate with trading, origination and risk teams, oversee external counsels, and ensure compliance with EMIR, REMIT and MiFID while advancing ENGIE’s commercial objectives.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Law. Italian Bar admission is a plus.
• At least three years of experience in energy commodity and financial derivative contracts negotiation.

Mansioni

• Advise, draft, review and negotiate energy commodity contracts, EFETs, PPAs, and ISDAs.
• Develop legal strategies to support ENGIE’s commercial objectives while mitigating legal risk.
• Draft credit management documents (netting agreements, letters of credit and guarantees).
• Conduct regulatory due diligence and advise on EMIR, MIFID and REMIT.
• Liaise with and draft legal analyses for management and governance purposes.
• Provide training on topical issues to S&EM colleagues and engage in industry conferences.
• Supervise external counsels and implement policy and guideline development.
