UNDP Rome Centre is seeking an Energy and Climate Analyst to support the implementation of PISTA BCW, contributing to climate and energy project origination, design and financing with Italian partners and UNDP country offices.

The role requires advanced degree in economics/finance/climate policy, 2+ years in climate/economic policy, and demonstrated donor engagement. Travel to HQ and country offices is expected.

Competenze

Advanced university degree in Economics, Finance, Climate Policy or related disciplines is required.
2 years (with a master’s) or 4 years (with a bachelor’s) in economic policy or climate/energy.
Experience coordinating with donors and managing partnerships is required.

Mansioni

Contribute to the implementation of PISTA BCW activities.
Support the design and implementation of bilateral cooperation projects with Italian partners.
Prepare interim and final technical and financial reports, monitoring project results.
Coordinate with UNDP country offices, donors and private sector partners.
Provide input to strategic documents, briefing notes and speeches for senior management.
