ID Energy Group in Rome is seeking a Senior Project Developer to reinforce our Italian team. You will lead greenfield projects and co-developments through RTB, coordinating with the implementation team and with legal, engineering, construction, and finance colleagues.

You bring 7–10 years of renewable energy development in Italy, deep knowledge of site securing, interconnection and permitting, and strong English/Italian communication. Hybrid work and central Rome office available.

Competenze

• 7–10 years of experience in development of renewable energy projects in Italy.
• Deep knowledge of site-securing, interconnection and permitting processes of renewable projects in Italy.
• Extensive knowledge and experience on environmental issues.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership skills.
• University degree.
• Native Italian is a must and fluent in English

Mansioni

• Analyses solar projects (Due Diligence and commercial negotiations) and secures internal approvals.
• Coordinates and manages development & permitting to ensure a timely RTB (ready to build) status.
• Manages relationships with co-development partners, including contractual obligations.
• Prepares projects for submissions to tenders and authorizations.
• Manages relationships with external stakeholders (municipalities, public authorities, DSO/TSO, regional bodies, landowners).
• Coordinates internal teams (legal, engineering, construction, finance, controlling).
• Develops in-depth knowledge of local market legislation and regulations.
• Controls costs and cashflow within the development budget.

What functions will you perform?

We are looking for new colleague in the role of Senior Project Developer to reinforce our Italian Team in Rome.

The Senior Project Developer will be responsible, reporting to the Head of Development, working of greenfield projects and co-developments ensuring the achievement of the ready to build stage as well as working of the construction permitting liaising with the implementation team.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyses solar projects (including Due Dilligence and commercial negotiations), secures internal approvals
• Coordinates and managesdevelopment & permitting process of projects to ensure a timely“RTB” (ready to build)status
• Manages relationship (including contractual obligations) with co-development partners.
• Prepares projects for submissions to tenders and authorizations.
• Manages relationship with external and relevant stakeholders (e.g. municipalities, public authorities, DSO, TSO, regional bodies, landowners and service providers).
• Coordinates internal teams, e.g. legal, engineering, construction, finance and controlling
• Development of an in-depth knowledge of the local market legislation, regulations, subsidiary schemes etc;
• Control on costs and cashflow within the development budget.

Your profile

• At least 7-10 years of experience in development of renewable energy projects in Italy.
• Deep knowledge of site-securing, interconnection and permitting processes of renewable projects in Italy.
• Extensive knowledge and experience on environmental issues.
• Knowledge of Autocad is a plus
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership skills
• University degree
• Native Italian is a must and fluent in English
