Amazon Leo Global Licensing - EMEA is seeking a Lead, Licensing & Regulatory Affairs to own licensing strategy across the EMEA region, including satellite, spectrum, and NGSO policy. You will shape regulatory outcomes by engaging with regulators and industry groups, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions and working with cross-functional teams.

This senior role requires a track record in regulatory affairs, project leadership, and the ability to translate complex rules into strategic advantage

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
• Experience related to spectrum management, securing licenses for the provision of telecommunications services and ensuring regulatory compliance at an international level
• Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
• Experience in working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies
• Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks

Mansioni

• Drive Licensing Strategy: Develop and execute licensing plans across a portfolio of EMEA countries, securing authorizations for satellite systems, gateway stations, user equipment, spectrum use, and service provision
• Shape the Regulatory Environment: Engage with regulators, trade associations, and industry stakeholders to advocate for favourable policies related to NGSO systems, spectrum access, and space sustainability and safety
• Enable Service Delivery: Identify regulatory risks before they become blockers, maintain compliance across jurisdictions, and work cross-functionally with business, legal, policy, and engineering teams to deliver Amazon Leo services at scale
• Lead Regional Engagement: Represent Amazon Leo in national and regional telecommunications organizations, building relationships with government officials and coordinating with the broader International Regulatory team
