ARAG S.r.l., part of Nordson Precision Agriculture, seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain software for precision agriculture products and systems. You will work with hardware, electronics, and mechanical components to ensure full product functionality and high quality.

The role emphasizes collaboration with R&D, Electronics, and Product teams, applying best practices and continuously improving software reliability and user experience in a dynamic environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related technical field.
• Experience in software development and systems development engineering.
• Experience in embedded software, application development, or similar roles.

Mansioni

• Analyze software and system requirements translating needs into software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications and system functionalities.
• Integrate software with hardware, electronics, and mechanical components.
• Write clean, well-documented code using appropriate languages.
• Maintain and enhance existing software to add features and improve performance.
• Participate in architecture, programming, debugging, and high-level design activities.
• Support testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and fix programming issues.
• Collaborate with R&D, Electronics, Mechanical Eng, Product Management, Quality, and Testing.
• Apply best practices including coding standards and source control.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software quality and user experience.
• Prepare technical documentation for design, development, testing, and release.
