Vertiv in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy, seeks a Controls Development Engineer to join the Embedded PLC lifecycle for complex thermal machinery. You’ll translate requirements into robust PLC software and collaborate with Controls Engineers to deliver releases.

You will design, prototype, test, and validate software, supporting Sales, System Engineering, and Service while maintaining configuration management and documentation.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Automation Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in controls and automation development.
• Knowledge IEC 61131-3 or similar.
• Experience with C/C++, C#, Javascript, Python, HTML is a plus.

Mansioni

• Develop PLC software and applications per requirements.
• Prototype, test, and review code for quality.
• Maintain software baselines and perform debugging and optimization.
• Prepare training documents for maintenance and production teams.
