Nidec Conversion is seeking a design and development engineer in Cinisello Balsamo to work on power converter controls, simulations, and system integration. You will implement firmware, develop control strategies, and collaborate across engineering teams to solve complex issues with hardware and software in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires at least two years of experience, a Master’s inElectrical/ Electronic Engineering, strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, and proficiency in C/C++.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and Coder for control development.
• Embedded systems programming in C/C++ and microprocessor boards.
• Reading/writing electrical diagrams and documentation in English.

Mansioni

• Develop control and protection algorithms and firmware for power converters.
• Modeling and simulation for development of controls.
• Analyze requirements and translate to technical specs.
• Implement, test and troubleshoot firmware.
• Maintain software and identify improvements.
• Support hardware integration and environmental tests.
