Nidec Conversion is seeking an Electromagnetic Electrical Engineer for its Monfalcone site. The role focuses on accurate electromagnetic design, sizing and performance calculations for medium-voltage motors and generators, reporting to the Electromagnetic Design Manager.

Competenze

• Technical Diploma in Electrical matters, Mechatronics, Electronics, IT or similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (with electrical machines courses in the study plan) shall be considered a plus.
• Two to three years of experience as technical designer in electrical industry, and namely in the rotating machines sector, shall be considered an advantage

Mansioni

• Instructed by senior colleagues before growing independent, under the supervision and direction of the head of the electromagnetic calculation, develop calculations and analyses and deliver performance sheets and design documents for customer and manufacturing.
• Use existing calculation tools and databases for preliminary sizing and definitive design of motors and generators, identifying closest reference and modifications for economical design.
• Analyze customer specifications and applicable international standards, comment on and deviate requirements where appropriate; compare calculated and actual performance using measurements and tests from test room department.
• Interact with colleagues from proposal, application engineering, manufacturing engineering and test room offices to accomplish daily assignments.

Nidec Conversion is looking for an Electromagnetic Electrical Engineer for Monfalcone site.

The position requires accurate, detail-oriented and reliable electromagnetic design technician skilled in the sizing and design of medium-voltage electric motors and generators. The candidate reports to the Electromagnetic Design Manager. In the bidding phase, he/she supports the proposals by dimensioning the required machines and calculating their performance data, and once the order has been won, he/she carries out the final electromagnetic design, which initiates the design for production and construction of the machines.

The candidate is rigorous, he/she analyses customer specifications and the applicable international standards, commenting on and deviating their requirements where appropriate; he/she compares the calculated and effective performance of the machines, by checking the results of the measurements and tests made available by the test room department.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Instructed by senior colleagues before growing independent, under the supervision and direction of the head of the electromagnetic calculation, the candidate works on assigned offers and orders to develop the necessary calculations and the analyses and to deliver the relevant performance sheets and design documents both for the customer and for manufacturing.

The candidate uses the existing calculation tools and databases for both preliminary sizing and definitive design of motors and generators, identifying the closest available reference and making the necessary modifications to achieve the required performances with the most economical design, considering the available tools, the manufacturing constrains and the engineering efforts for the executive design.

To accomplish his/her daily assignments, he/she mainly interacts with the colleagues from proposal, application engineering, manufacturing engineering and the test room offices.
