Ebara Elliott Energy seeks an experienced EHS leader to direct and implement global EHS programs with a focus on EMA field operations. You will manage compliance, drive risk mitigation, and oversee EHS systems across multiple sites, coordinating with external regulators and audits.

The role requires a strong background in EHS management systems (ISO 14001/45001), leadership, and fluency in English. Based in Italy with potential remote working arrangements, the position offers opportunities to

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in Environmental and/or Health and Safety Science or related field with 5–7 years in industrial or petrochemical environments.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and written communication skills across all levels.
• Working knowledge of EHS regulatory framework (EMA region) and EHS management systems.
• Fluent in English and excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, databases).
• RSPP in Italy and NEBOSH IGC qualification.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001; ASP, CSP, or CHMM desirable.
• Experience in benzene/hydrocarbon exposure environments, confined space, height and lifting activities preferred.
• First Aid Certificate highly preferred.

• Deploys Elliott EHS policy across area of responsibility.
• Develops and implements EHS strategic plans and supports leadership on EHS matters.
• Leads development of EHS systems, internal processes, and ISO conformance.
• Manages external regulatory agencies and EHS legal counsel relationships.
• Oversees third-party certification, customer audits, and qualifications.
• Provides leadership and guidance for contracted EHS professionals in Field Service.
• Works with EHS colleagues to standardize key processes and best practices.
• Manages incident investigation, identifies root causes, trends, and preventive actions.
• Evaluates audits, incidents, and drills to drive continuous EHS improvements.
