ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our Alternative Education team. You will lead instructional planning for elementary students with IEPs, delivering targeted instruction and personalized learning experiences in the learning center and/or classroom.
You will implement PBIS, collaborate with parents and staff, track progress, and develop detailed lesson plans aligned with state standards.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
- IL PEL credential in progress or possessed.
- IL LBS1 credential in progress or possessed.
- Ability to obtain crisis management training certification.
- Experience with curriculum development, differentiation and instruction.
- IEP experience and knowledge in educating students with disabilities.
Mansioni
- Lead instructional process for elementary students with IEPs.
- Deliver differentiated instruction individually or in co-teaching settings.
- Develop and update IEP goals and interventions.
- Prepare daily lesson plans aligned to standards.
- Track student progress and maintain records.
