Job summary

ABB is seeking a PMO-focused engineering project leader in Italy to drive cross-functional project execution across electrical systems, automation, and power distribution. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interface with customers and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.

You will report to the PMO Manager and work in a hybrid setup, contributing to ABB's Electrification Distribution Solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5+ years in engineering project execution, electrical systems, automation, or related industrial environments.
• Demonstrated project management experience with planning, risk, cost control, and stakeholder management. PM certification is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and service.
• Define and deliver solutions meeting technical, commercial, and operational requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and control activities to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Monitor risks, opportunities, costs, and performance; implement corrective actions.
• Manage projects end-to-end, balancing technical excellence with delivery and customer satisfaction.
