Cavotec ricerca un ingegnere di test per verificare sistemi elettromeccanici e gestire la certificazione per una gamma di soluzioni industriali. Sarai coinvolto in test, analisi dei risultati e collaborazione con team di progettazione per garantire conformità a IEC, ISO, CE e LVD.

La figura supporterà lo sviluppo e lancia di sistemi di electrification e automazione per porti, aeroporti e settori industriali, con responsabilità di definire piani di test, documentazione tecnica e procedure di

Competenze

• Laurea in Ingegneria Elettrica o equivalente.
• Significativa esperienza nella gestione di attività di type testing, preferibilmente in ambito elettrico o meccanico.
• Capacità di leadership e gestione progetti tecnici.
• Conoscenza di normative e requisiti regolamentari relativi ai test di prodotto e certificazione (IEC/IEEE).
• Buona lettura/scrittura di schemi elettrici; conoscenza di schemi idraulici è un plus.
• Familiarità con sistemi di qualità (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) e marcature CE/UKCA.
• Fluenza in inglese e italiano sono mandatory.

• Definire dispositivi, procedure e condizioni per test affidabili.
• Testare per verificare prestazioni della gamma di prodotti secondo un piano a lungo termine.
• Programmazione e parametrizzazione di azionamenti a frequenza variabile.
• Definire i diagrammi di strumentazione con team di sviluppo e fornitori.
• Collaborare con altri team per verificare test di tipo e fornire input tecnico ai bid e al lancio prodotti.
• Progettare, sviluppare ed eseguire piani di test interni ed esterni.
• Gestire documentazione, report di test e prove per certificazioni/udit.
• Analizzare risultati, identificare deviazioni e ottimizzare le prestazioni.
• Mantenere database di test tipo, incluse prove sismiche.
• Supportare validazione, certificazione e attività di qualificazione prodotto.
• Supportare reviews ingegneria e analisi delle cause di non conformità.
• Pianificare ed eseguire test funzionali, E, meccanici, Elettrici ed ambientali su prodotti come bobine cavo motorizzate, unità di potenza, interfacce di ricarica e pannelli di distribuzione.
• Assicurare conformità a IEC, ISO, UL, CE, EMC, LVD e direttive macchine.
• Gestire certificazioni con laboratori terzi e organismi notificati.

Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for testing electromechanical systems, verifying compliance with international safety and performance standards, and managing the product certification process for a range of industrial solutions.

You will contribute to the development and launch of electrification and automation systems used in ports, airports, heavy industry, and transportation fields.

Responsibilities

• Define test equipments, procedure and condition to perform reliable testing
• Test equipments to investigate performances of the defined range of product, when required, according to a long term plan
• Variable Frequency Drives programming, settings and parametrization
• Define the instrumentation diagrams, together with the software developers, mechanical teams and suppliers
• Collaborate closely with other teams to verify the existence and adequacy of type tests for current and new designs, providing expert technical input to support customer bids and product launches.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans for new and existing products both internally and at external (3rd party) facilities
• Manage the preparation and validation of all necessary documentation, test reports, and evidence to support regulatory certification, audits, and customer requirements.
• Analyze and interpret test results, identify deviations, and collaborate with design teams to resolve issues and optimize product performance.
• Maintain and continuously update the type test databases, including specialized records for seismic and other special tests, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
• Contribute to products qualification, validation (testing), and certifications (Class approval) activities
• Support engineering and quality teams during design reviews, FMEA sessions, and root cause analysis of non-conformities
• Plan, design, and execute functional, mechanical, electrical, and environmental test procedures on products such as motorized cable reels, power units, charging interfaces, and distribution panels
• Ensure products meet applicable regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., IEC, ISO, UL, CE, EMC, LVD, Machinery Directive)
• Manage certification processes with third-party laboratories and notified bodies, preparing and maintaining all necessary technical documentation (e.g., test reports, risk assessments, declarations of conformity)
• Define and implement test protocols for type testing, design validation, and regression testing, both manual and automated

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Significant experience managing type testing activities, preferably in electrical or mechanical component industries, with a focus on similar products.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing technical projects.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to type testing and product certification (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ..).
• Strong understanding of testing procedures and protocols, including execution and reporting.
• Read and write electrical diagram, understanding of hydraulics diagrams is a plus.
• Familiarity with quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and CE/UKCA marking processes
• Fluency in English and Italian are mandatory to be successful in the role
• Experience with programming motor drives and setting programming parameters (ABB, Siemens, Vacon-Danfoss, Yaskawa)
