Cavotec in Nova Milanese is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our project team and enhance automation and electrification solutions. Your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing systems for automated mooring and charging solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation Engineering and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electric CAD. Expect competitive annual salary ranging from €40,000 to €50,000, along with professional development opportunities and welfare benefits.

Your mission

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will join our project team of automation engineers to deliver high quality and cost-effective engineering solutions for our customers. Your primary task will be design, develop and implement automation system for automated mooring and advanced automatic plug-in charging system.

Key Responsabilities

• Define the tasks of the system on the basis of the functional specification and electrical diagram
• Design of the automation system architecture and selection of the automation hardware
• Design electrical schematic for LV control switchgear (LV/MV power switchgears would be a plus)
• Design the software program of the PLC
• Variable Frequency Drives programming, settings and parametrization
• Software downloading and testing
• Selection of field instruments and sensors
• Start up on site when required
• Training to the Operators on site when required
• Technical support to service team for trouble shooting on site job
