Siemens in Milan seeks an Electrical Protection Engineer to join our Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation team. You will design, test, and commission energy automation systems for substations and power plants, configuring relays and analyzing faults.

Ideal candidates hold an Electrical Engineering degree, 3–5 years of protection or substation automation experience, and can travel for site activities. Italian and English proficiency is required.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with protection engineering or substation automation is preferred.

Mansioni

• Configure protection relays (SIPROTEC) according to functional and logic diagrams.
• Perform FAT of electrical automation systems.
• Support and execute SAT during commissioning.
• Analyze fault recordings and disturbance waveforms.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop smart energy automation solutions.
