Job summary

Link Engineering Company in Magenta, Lombardy, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to design, document and support electrical systems for precision test equipment and data acquisition.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with at least five years of experience, CAD experience (EPLAN preferred), and hands-on knowledge of motor drives, PLC/HMI, and EN 60204-1 / EN 13849-1 safety standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
At least 5 years in electrical design.
Experience with CAD tools (EPLAN preferred).
Experience with test equipment is a plus.
Knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, motion control, and motor drives.
Familiarity with EN 60204-1 and EN 13849-1 safety standards.

Responsibilities

Drawing of electrical schematics for testing machines using CAD tools.
Performing technical calculations including full load amps and conduit sizes.
Selection of components and BOM creation in ERP system.
Supervise suppliers during electrical cabinet assembly and verify quality.
Checkout of electrical cabinets at delivery.
