Job summary

Link Engineering Company is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to design, develop and support electrical systems for precision test equipment and control systems. The role covers electrical schematics, BOM creation, and collaboration with Sales, Operations, Testing and Validation teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least 5 years of electrical design experience, with CAD tools (EPLAN preferred) and knowledge of EN 60204-1 and EN 13849-1 safety

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least 5 years in electrical design.
Experience designing electrical schematics with CAD tools (EPLAN preferred).
Experience in automation systems, sensors, PLCs, and motion control.

Responsibilities

Draw electrical schematics for testing machines using CAD tools.
Suggest new designs and improvements.
Perform technical calculations (full load amps, short circuit amps, conduit sizes).
Perform EN 13849-1 Performance Level calculations.
Create BOMs in ERP system and manage component selection.
Supervise suppliers during electrical cabinet realization and verify quality.
Checkout electrical cabinets at delivery and ensure proper function.
Program and troubleshoot motor drives/motion control systems.
Support Sales, Operations, Testing and Validation teams.
Document manuals and technical files for records.
