Ima Group is seeking an Electrical Hardware Designer in Bologna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The role focuses on designing and selecting hardware components for electrical and automation systems of new machine functions and assemblies, ensuring regulatory compliance.

The candidate will prepare electrical BOMs and schematics, collaborate with mechanical and software engineers, and contribute to risk assessments with a focus on machine safety. Degree in Engineering or a technical diploma is required.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma.
• 5 to 10 years in industrial automation, incl. plants, electrical panels and automation systems.
• Knowledge of EPLAN electrical CAD software.
• Effective communication in English with customers and suppliers.
• Collaborative teamwork.
• Structured problem-solving.
• Electrical hardware design.
• Electrical BOM creation.
