Clivet S.p.A. (Midea Group) seeks an Electrical Engineer for its R&D team in Feltre (BL) / Padua (PD), Italy.

You will design low-voltage electrical panels, create schematics, qualify components, and collaborate with mechanical, software, and production teams to ensure seamless integration. The role requires 2–3 years of electrical/electronic design experience, proficiency in SPAC and Solid Edge, and a solid understanding of CE/UL standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical/electronic design, preferably in HVAC, home appliances, or industrial machinery.
• Proficiency with electrical design software SPAC and Solid Edge.

Company Overview

Clivet S.p.A., a leading company in the air conditioning (HVAC) sector and part of the Midea Group, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Research & Development team at our headquarters in Feltre (BL).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electrical systems within our air conditioning products, actively contributing to the innovation and efficiency of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Low-Voltage Electrical Panel Design: Design low-voltage electrical panels serving HVAC machinery.
• Electrical Schematics: Create electrical diagrams and schematics using CAD software, specifically SPAC and SOLID EDGE.
• Component Qualification: Evaluate and qualify electrical and electronic components (protective devices, sensors, actuators, inverters, etc.) based on technical, regulatory, and cost requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with mechanical engineering, software, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into final products.
• Prototyping & Testing: Develop and test prototypes, performing simulations and analyses to verify the performance and reliability of electrical systems.
• Technical Documentation: Draft technical documentation (specifications, manuals, test reports) and support product certification processes.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Analyze and resolve electrical issues on existing products, providing technical support to production and after-sales teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry regulations within the electrical and electronic fields applied to HVAC systems.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in electrical/electronic design, preferably in the HVAC, home appliances, or industrial machinery sectors.
• Software Skills: Excellent proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., Solid Edge, SPAC).
• Regulations & Standards: Good knowledge of electrical and safety standards/regulations (CE, UL, etc.) applicable to industrial products.
• Soft Skills: Strong teamwork capabilities, proactivity, and problem-solving skills.
• Language Skills: Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience with motor control systems (inverters, brushless motors).
• Knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, CAN bus).
• Experience in EMC/EMI (Electromagnetic Compatibility/Interference) testing and design.

Employment Terms & Benefits

• Contract Type: Permanent contract (Contratto a tempo indeterminato), under the Italian National Collective Labor Agreement for the Engineering Industry (CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria).
• Location: Feltre (BL), Padua (PD)
• Work Mode: On-site / Hybrid.
• Gross Annual Salary (RAL) Range: €30,000 – €45,000.

Note on Salary Flexibility: The final salary and contractual level will be commensurate with the candidate's actual seniority, technical skills verified during the interview process, and demonstrated autonomy in the role.
