Job summary

PDF Solutions, Inc. in Italy seeks an experienced R&D Software Engineer to join the CV System team. You will develop layout and verification software for CV test-chips, automating layout generation and LVS/DRC checks within Cadence and related tools.

You will work with C++, Ruby and scripting, support in-house DOE tools, maintain web docs with Rails, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast-paced, agile development cycle.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in CS/CE/EE.
• 3+ years UNIX/Linux experience.
• 3+ years Software Development.
• Proficiency in C++ and Ruby.
• Experience with EDA tools.
• Understanding of chip design/verification flow.
• Documentation experience.
• Cross Platform GUI with Qt; large software systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop CV system software for layout and verification.
• Support DOE entry tools and in-house tools.
• Assist Cadence/Virtuoso environments and scripting.
• Write/maintain internal web docs (Rails).
• Collaborate with across engineering teams.
• Ramp up on codebase and implement features.
