Emerson in Milan, Italy is seeking a Graduate Sales Engineer to launch a technical sales career through structured development, hands-on customer engagement, and mentorship. Competenze

• A degree or equivalent educational background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A strong interest in building a long-term career in technical sales, technical marketing, or applications engineering.
• Foundational knowledge of electronics, computing systems, and programming languages such as C, Python, LabVIEW, or similar technologies.
• Ability and willingness to relocate to Milan (Italy), Paris (France), Munich (Germany), or Reading (United Kingdom) for a minimum of two years as part of the development program.

• Spend your first six months in an intensive learning environment, developing expertise in NI solutions, technologies, and sales processes while supporting customers with technical challenges.
• Partner with Account Managers to support customer opportunities, product demonstrations, training sessions, and solution configuration activities.
• Balance inbound sales opportunities, marketing-generated leads, customer presentations, demonstrations, and prospecting efforts to build a strong sales pipeline.
• Develop expertise in test and measurement technologies to support long-term career growth.
• Qualify customer requirements and collaborate with Account Managers to progress business opportunities.
• Share knowledge, provide peer support, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, technical support, operations, and business units to deliver customer success.
• Travel to customer locations to facilitate training, technical workshops, product demonstrations, and educational sessions.
• Collaborate with channel partners and distributors to expand customer engagement and business growth.
• Support territory planning by identifying priorities, aligning resources, and executing strategies that contribute to business objectives.
• Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to strengthen technical and commercial knowledge.
