Job summary

Oberalp Group is seeking a Junior Product Developer for the Dynafit Apparel Division. You will translate design concepts into technical details, work with suppliers, and support the entire development cycle from concept to salesman sample.

The role requires 1–3 years in apparel product development, strong organization, and good Italian and English communication. Travel to suppliers and shows may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical education in Apparel, Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a comparable field.
• 1–3 years of experience in apparel product development; recent graduates welcome.
• Italian and English skills are required.
• Pattern making and sewing skills are a plus.

At Dynafit we are looking for a Junior Product Developer to join Apparel Division.
Working closely with Product Management, Design, Development teams, and suppliers, you will support the creation of technical apparel products from concept to salesman sample, contributing to high-performance products that reflect Dynafit's DNA and meet the needs of mountain athletes.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Translate design concepts and product requirements into detailed technical information within the PLM system, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
• Support product development activities from concept to salesman sample, maintaining complete and organized development records for assigned styles
• Manage prototypes and samples, ensuring quality, fit consistency, and adherence to development timelines
• Collaborate with pattern makers and suppliers to communicate construction requirements and support product reviews throughout the development and sampling process
• Work closely with garment manufacturers across different regions, supporting development activities and supplier visits when required
• Support fit sessions, product evaluations, and testing activities, including field and washing tests
• Monitor development timelines and follow up on key development milestones
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design teams throughout the collection creation process, contributing to the continuous improvement of product construction, fit, functionality, and quality

Profile

• Degree or technical education in Apparel, Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a comparable field
• 1–3 years of experience in apparel product development, preferably within sportswear, outdoor, technical apparel, or performance products; recent graduates with a relevant educational background in apparel or textiles are also welcome
• Basic understanding of garment construction, pattern making principles, fabrics, and apparel manufacturing processes
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment
• Pattern making and sewing skills are a plus
• Very good Italian and English skills
• Availability to travel to suppliers, trade shows, and field-testing activities when required

Annual Gross Base Salary Range

starting from 30,000€. Compensation for this role is based on skills, experience, qualifications, and job-related responsibilities. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
