Sungrow Europe seeks a Distribution Service Engineer for Italy to support partners and customers, delivering expert technical service and training across the Italian market.

You will manage hotline/ticket support, perform onsite troubleshooting with the Partner Success Manager, and contribute to regional knowledge through FAQs and training content. Fluency in Italian and English is required, with travel up to 10% within the EU.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
• At least 3 years in after‑sales, technical support, or service in PV/ESS/O&M or similar energy env.
• Fluent in Italian and English (C1); Chinese a plus.

About the role

As a Distribution Service Engineer - Italy, you will help our partners and customers get the best from our solutions while supporting a fast‑moving and collaborative service environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage hotline and ticket support for distributors, installers, and end users across the Italian market.
• Deliver technical training sessions for distributors and installers to strengthen product knowledge and service quality.
• Support onsite troubleshooting activities together with the Partner Success Manager.
• Join selected pre‑sales customer visits in close collaboration with the Account Manager.
• Create and maintain FAQs, online learning content, and technical documentation for the region.
• Prepare regular service and performance reports for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual review cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in after‑sales, technical support, or service within PV, ESS, O&M, or a similar energy‑related environment.
• Strong interest in clean‑tech and passion for helping customers solve technical challenges.
• Fluent in Italian and English (C1 level); knowledge of Chinese a plus.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and quick to learn new tools and internal systems.
• Independent, focused, adaptable, and able to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Open to occasional travel (5‑10%) within the local market and to the wider EU service team.
