Quince is seeking a Director of Specialty Fibers to lead the strategic fiber sourcing and quality framework across global markets. You will optimize the end-to-end supply chain from fiber to finished yarn, integrating sourcing, production, and design with a focus on sustainability and cost leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Textile Science, Fiber Engineering, Material Science, Supply Chain Management, Color Chemistry, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in specialty fiber sourcing, yarn production, quality management, or coloration for apparel, accessories, or home textiles.
• Deep technical knowledge of natural fibers (cashmere, merino, yak, alpaca, cotton) and spinning processes.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams in fast-paced retail/manufacturing.
• Strong cost analysis and supplier compliance experience.

Responsabilités

• Architect the end-to-end fiber supply chain as central hub across sourcing, production, and quality.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of sourcing managers, engineers, and production experts.
• Drive multi-sourcing and nearshoring strategies to mitigate risks while maintaining supply of high-grade fibers.
• Set strategic direction for vertical integration and build-vs-buy decisions in spinning, dyeing, or finishing.
• Lead root-cause analysis for quality failures and drive CAPA across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with product development to translate aesthetic visions into manufacturable technical specs.
