Job summary

Quince seeks a Cashmere Lab Testing & Quality Leader to head testing and QA for cashmere materials and finished goods. You will establish standards, supervise the lab, and work with suppliers and third-party labs to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Lead a multifaceted QA/QC team, deliver technical reports, and drive continuous improvement in testing methods, enabling strategic procurement and product development across global cashmere supply chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
• Proven cashmere or wool fiber testing experience with raw material analysis.
• Background in QA/QC for brands or third-party labs is a plus.
• Familiarity with international/domestic testing methods and color/oil content for textiles.
• Strong leadership with ability to supervise cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and QA for cashmere raw materials and finished products.
• Set testing standards for composition, fiber length, fineness, and color.
• Supervise lab operations and ensure compliance with testing standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers, brands, and testing institutions (SGS, BV, TUV, UL).
• Build and manage QA/QC teams; train staff and standardize procedures.
• Provide technical reports and data analysis to procurement, production, and R&D.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing methods and fiber analysis.
