Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Director of Analog Design to lead the Power Product Group's Performance Computing Power Team in Catania, Italy. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of Smart Power Stages and PMIC development, aligning with product roadmaps and manufacturing partners.

The successful candidate will drive innovation, manage a high‑caliber engineering team across sites, and collaborate with Marketing, CAD, Packaging, Test, and Fab teams to set investment

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 25+ years of experience in semiconductor engineering, with at least 5 years in high current products.
• Proven experience in managing complex projects.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor design, development, and production processes.
• Experienced in power management circuits and DC/DC converters architecture.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a semiconductor engineering team in Catania, ensuring operational excellence and high performance.
• Collaborate with Product Line Directors to prioritize near-term product execution imperatives and long-term strategic initiatives
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive innovation and growth in Performance Computing Power.
• Oversee the design and development of products, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple sites.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
• Set a vision for the team and grow the team in size and capability.
• Manage resources and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
