UNDP Rome Centre invites applications for the Project Specialist – Digital Development to coordinate and manage the Italy–Africa Digital Development Flagship Programme across multiple countries. You will collaborate with UNDP Country Offices, MAECI, and national partners to ensure timely delivery and donor-compliant outputs.

Competenze

• Advanced university degree in International Development, Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Environmental Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years (with master’s) or 9 years (with bachelor’s) of progressive programme/project management experience.

Mansioni

• Provide high level strategic guidance and coordination across programme components and countries.
• Lead review and quality assurance of project documents and deliverables.
• Oversee adaptation of project proposals to donor requirements and templates.
• Interface with UNDP Country Offices, MAECI, and national counterparts to ensure timely, donor-compliant delivery.
• Identify risks and provide strategic advice to senior management to mitigate them.
• Capture and systematize lessons learned across countries and meetings.
