Deel is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. You will automate security tooling, secure cloud infrastructure, and maintain proactive monitoring across systems. The role offers cross-functional collaboration with developers and operations in a global, fast-growing SaaS company.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in security roles, IaC scanning experience, and strong scripting skills in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python. A hybrid work setup is available with market-competitive compensation.

Competenze

• 3+ years in Security, SecOps, or DevSecOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with policy-as-code and IaC security scanning tools such as Checkov, tfsec, or Terrascan.
• Programming: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python; Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and tune WAF and firewall configurations (Cloudflare or equivalent).
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure coding, encryption, access control, and security testing.
• CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, configuration management, and monitoring.
• Risk assessment, threat modelling, vulnerability management, and incident response planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into development.
• Security automation tools and frameworks; experience with SAST/DAST is a plus.
