MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) seeks an Administrative Coordinator to support front desk operations, verify documentation for the Dental Medicine EHR, and ensure timely registration, scheduling, and patient check-out.
The role involves handling insurance verification, patient finances conversations, and general admin duties, contributing to full clinic schedules and quality service.
The Administrative Coordinator reports directly to MUSC Health clinic leadership. Under general supervision, the Administrative Coordinator provides a high level of customer service while verifying and preparing documentation for the Dental Medicine EHR. This role facilitates the timely completion of the front desk registration process, telephone inquiries, scheduling, patient check-out process, and works closely with dental providers to provide quality service and care to patients. Provides courteous and professional customer service to internal and external customers.
This position plays a critical role in keeping the clinic schedule full and addresses patient concerns and questions about patient finances and balances. Additionally, this position will be responsible for general administrative office needs.

A high school diploma and four years relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services; or a bachelor's degree and two years experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
