Job summary

Castello di Casole, a Belmond Hotel, is seeking a Demi Chef de Rang to support floor operations and deliver refined dining service to our guests in Tuscany. The role requires at least 2 years in luxury hospitality and a strong understanding of etiquette and presentation.

Fluency in Italian and English is essential, with a desire to grow into a Chef de Rang. We offer seasonal contracts, staff amenities, and access to Belmond’s Discovery program across iconic properties.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in food service within 4/5-star luxury hotels or upscale restaurants.
• Knowledge of luxury service etiquette and beverage presentation.
• Elegant presentation, politeness, and high attention to detail.
• Strong desire to grow into a Chef de Rang role.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Rang in station service and take orders for water, bread, and supporting dish delivery.
• Ensure immaculate mis-en-place, table settings, and side-stand preparation prior to service hours.
• Interact politely with guests, providing basic menu information and anticipating needs.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables efficiently between courses.
• Maintain close communication with the kitchen brigade to ensure smooth course timing.
