Magnum Ice Cream Co. in Rome, Italy, is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead local end-to-end demand and the S&OP process for the Italy Ice Cream & Frozen Food business.

You will balance cash, cost and service by delivering accurate forecasts and enabling successful market execution. The role requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent), 10+ years in demand planning, and strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP, Kinaxis, and ML tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in demand planning and S&OP.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP, ML tools, and demand planning software.
• Fluent Italian and English mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Forecast Management: Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using data inputs and forecasting techniques.
• S&OP Leadership: Lead the demand planning component of the S&OP process across commercial, supply, and finance functions.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to incorporate promotions and product launches.
• Performance Monitoring: Track forecast accuracy and bias and drive continuous improvements.
• Service and Inventory Optimization: Balance service levels with working capital and supply constraints to minimize waste.
• Data & Systems: Lead adoption of Kinaxis and analytics platforms for data-driven decisions.

This role is responsible for local E2E demand and supply planning process, leading local collaboration with service provider on short term supply and enhancing the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP / IBP) for Italy Ice Cream & Frozen Food business. Italy Ice Cream Demand Planning Manager is leading the demand forecasting process and ensures alignment between commercial, supply chain, and finance teams. This role is critical in driving forecast accuracy, ensuring right service levels, optimizing inventory levels, minimizing business waste and supporting strategic decision-making to meet customer demand efficiently. This role is vital in ensuring that the company can meet customer demand efficiently while minimizing costs & cash and maximizing service levels. **What you'll be responsible for*** Forecast Management: Develop and maintain accurate short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using machine learning models / AI driven forecasting tools, market intelligence, and cross-functional inputs.* S&OP Leadership: Lead the demand planning component of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment across commercial, supply, and finance functions.* Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to gather insights on promotions, product launches, and market trends.
