Clear. is seeking a BMS Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning of building management and HVAC systems in data centre projects across Italy. You will perform point-to-point and functional testing, configure BMS controllers, diagnose issues, and produce commissioning documentation.

Interaction with clients and multi-disciplinary teams is essential. You will review graphics and control strategies, support IST and handover activities, and travel to data centre sites across Italy and possibly

Competenze

Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer, BMS Controls Engineer or Controls Commissioning Engineer.
Strong understanding of BMS and HVAC control systems.
Experience commissioning DDC, PLC or BMS control systems.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with HVAC plant and mechanical services.
Good understanding of control panels, sensors, actuators and field devices.
Experience with BACnet, Modbus or similar communication protocols.
Ability to read electrical drawings, control schematics and technical documentation.
Data centre / critical infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
Experience working on large commercial, industrial or mission-critical projects.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and contractors.
Willingness to travel to data centre sites across Italy and potentially wider Europe.
Fluent Italian and good English would be highly advantageous.

Mansioni

Commission BMS and building automation systems across large-scale data centre projects.
Carry out point-to-point testing, functional testing and system commissioning.
Test and commission HVAC control systems including AHUs, chillers, pumps, CRAC/CRAH units and associated equipment.
Configure and test BMS controllers, I/O, sensors, actuators and field devices.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, controls and communication issues.
Complete functional performance testing in accordance with project specifications.
Support IST and client witnessing activities.
Work with electrical and mechanical teams to coordinate commissioning activities.
Interface with PLCs, HVAC equipment and other third-party systems.
Test communications and integrations using BACnet and Modbus.
Review BMS graphics, alarms, trends, sequences and control strategies.
Produce commissioning records, test sheets and technical documentation.
Identify defects and ensure issues are resolved prior to project handover.
Liaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors and project management teams.
Support final project handover and provide technical assistance during the defects period.
Ensure all commissioning activities are completed safely and in accordance with project procedures.
