Clear. in Milan is seeking an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join its team on mission-critical data centre projects across Italy.

You will lead commissioning, testing, and handover of BMS and building automation systems, coordinating with project managers, electrical and mechanical contractors, and client teams. The role requires strong BMS/controls expertise, familiarity with BACnet/Modbus protocols, and the ability to travel to data centre sites.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of BMS and HVAC control systems.
• Experience commissioning DDC, PLC or BMS control systems.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with HVAC plant and mechanical services.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and control schematics.
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus or similar protocols.
• Data centre/critical infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel to data centre sites across Italy and potentially wider Europe.
• Fluent Italian and good English advantageous.

A growing building automation and controls company is expanding its presence across Europe and is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join its team in Milan.

The role will focus on the commissioning, testing and handover of BMS and building automation systems across large-scale data centre projects.

You will work closely with project managers, controls engineers, electrical and mechanical contractors, and client teams to ensure BMS systems are fully tested, integrated and operating in line with project specifications and critical infrastructure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Commission BMS and building automation systems across large-scale data centre projects.
• Carry out point-to-point testing, functional testing and system commissioning.

• Experience with HVAC plant and mechanical services.
• Good understanding of control panels, sensors, actuators and field devices.
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus or similar communication protocols.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, control schematics and technical documentation.
• Data centre / critical infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
• Experience working on large commercial, industrial or mission-critical projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and contractors.
• Willingness to travel to data centre sites across Italy and potentially wider Europe.
• Fluent Italian and good English would be highly advantageous.
