Exyte is seeking an experienced Design Manager (m/f/d) for a data center project in Milan. You will coordinate disciplines, manage multi-discipline meetings, and ensure timely delivery of documents and requisitions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, with several years of experience as Project Engineer or Design Manager in engineering or production companies, preferably in data centers.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Generation Engineering or Thermomechanical Engineering or similar.
• Several years of experience as Project Engineer or Design Manager in engineering and/or production company.
• Nice-to-have: Experience of working on construction sites.
• Very good knowledge of Italian and English.
• Willingness to travel and work within multidisciplinary teams.

Mansioni

• Coordinate disciplines/activities, control and forecast work area activities and deliverables against schedule.
• Work in coordination with procurement and subcontracting group as well as estimate department.
• Prepare material and construction requisition for mechanical/piping works.
• Manage the preparation of key multidisciplinary project documents (P&Id's, line list, equipment list etc.)
• Organize, contribute and prepare notes for multidiscipline meetings to affect the timely completion of the requisition.
• Directly reports to the Project Manager.
